The reverse displays Britannia seated and facing right with the denomination surrounding her and date below. The coin has the words "VICTORIA.D.G.: BRITT. REG. F.D." surrounding the queen's bust on the obverse. The reverse is marked "Half Penny 1887" surrounding a seated Britannia facing right. This is KM 754 weighing 5.4 grams and measuring about 25 mm in diameter. The coin comes in a plastic slab and is graded as Mint State MS 65 RB (Red Brown) by the Numismatic Guarantee Corporation.
