Beautiful Cast Iron Doorstop Ship with Sails or Galleon
Description: A beautiful decorative cast iron doorstop cast in the form of a sail ship or galleon with saild wide open and flags fluttering in the wind. The ship is painted in a yellowish offwhite paint and has red heighlights in the flags and crosses along the side. The ship, which is reminecent of the Santa Maria has cannon prtals and a large cross cut out in the central sail. The doorstop has two feet on which it stands and a central stop whic is what would stop the dooor in its place. Very nice contemporary decorative piece. This is a nice size piece and weighs over 2.5 pounds. Please view photos as they are part and parcel of the description.

Distinguishing Characteristics - Most Interesting About The Piece: This is definitely a nice decorative doorstop. It weighs over 2.5 pounds and has most of its original paint.
Condition: This doorstop is in excellent condition with no breaks or repairs. It has some very minor losses to the original paint minor rust spots on the feet. Please see photo to appreciate the condition of the doorstop.
In Closing: A nice piece with beautiful and very interesting details. Would display nicely in your collection or add a nice accent in your shore cottage.
