Beautiful Cobalt Blue and Gold Colored Iridescent Art Glass Short Vase Marked RC
Description: A beautiful cobalt blue and gold colored art glass vase. The vase has a round flat base with a slightly depressed center. It has a wide bottom and slops inwards and upwards to a plain smooth rim. The glass has a golden iridescent color over a cobalt blue colored background on the sides and is cobalt blue colored on the base. The vase is rather short and measures about ~3 1/4" in height. It is marked RC in raised lettering within a circle in the center of the bottom. A great looking piece of art glass to decorate your home or to add to your collection. Origin: Purchased at an estate sale in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
Size: Measures ~3 1/2" in diameter at the base, ~2 5/8" in diameter at the top, and is ~3 1/4" high. The piece weighs about 9 ounces.

Look carefully at the piece and you will realize that it is of the highest quality workmanship. Condition: The vase is in excellent condition with no breaks, no chips, no repairs, and no losses to the coloring. It was obviously well cherished and taken care of all these years. The colors are still well preserved with no losses. The only thing we see, or actually feel, is a few dimples on the surface which we believe are artifacts of the making and are original to the piece. These do not distract from the quality and beauty of the piece. The piece is very well made and is of first quality and well done.
