Description: A beautiful Choice about uncirculated or better banknote from Hong Kong. This is The Hong Kong & Shanghai Banking Corporation 12th February, 1960 ten dollars currency note. The banknote which was issued by the "The Hong Kong & Shanghai Banking Corporation" and printed by Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co. Ltd. has a dark green design on multicolored and orange underprint with the image of a woman holding sheaf of grain within an oval in the top left corner and the arms of Hong Kong left of center of the front. The back is also dark green on multicolored underprint with the image of a bank building in the center and a winged angel on top. This particular note has the serial number 777289 displayed twice on the front and is series HM. The note has two signatures displayed on the front. It is dated 12th February, 1960. The banknote has a watermark located in the squared frame to the left on the back, which displays a helmeted warrior's head with the number 10 at the base of the image. Condition: I would grade this banknote as choice about uncirculated or better. The note has a very light and imperceptible fold in the middle that is vertical and can only be seen near the top edge. The note is clean with no stains. The note is intact with no pinholes, no graffiti, no tears and no splits. It retains most of its original stiffness, crispiness, and sheen. It displays some waviness along the top edge, but the edges are intact with no observable roughness. The corners are fully squared and show minimum rounding, if any, with no bumps.
