Description: A most beautiful blue colored art pottery vase having a round base and two handles near the top. This great piece of decorative art pottery is made by the Roseville Pottery Company. This nominal 6" tall piece is in the Magnolia pattern. The pattern shows large white and pink blossoms with pink centers with black highlighted branches on textured background of blue and pink coloring. It was made from 1943 on. Please carefully view photos as they are part and parcel of our description.

Date: Sometime post 1943.

Origin: The piece is part of a large collection purchased from a collector in Southern New Jersey, which we have been and will continue listing over the coming weeks and months. It was of course made in Roseville, Ohio.

Size: The piece measures ~6 1/4" at its tallest with the base measuring ~3 3/8" in diameter and is ~6 3/4" at its widest at the handles. The piece weighs about one pound and 14 ounces.

Maker: Roseville Pottery Company.

Marks: In relief on the bottom of the base the words "Roseville, U. S. A. 180-6" which can be seen in the photos.

Distinguishing Characteristics - Most Interesting About The Piece: This is a truly nice piece which is uncommon and relatively difficult to come by. The colors are rich, fresh and vivid and it would display very well in your collection. Condition: The piece is in good condition with no cracks, hairlines, or repairs. The piece has some minor crazing to the glaze, and several (about 4) small and rather old chips to the inside edge of the foot of the base, which we show in the last several photos. The piece is lightly soiled and would probably benefit from a good cleaning, but we leave that to the new owner. The piece is great looking and would display nicely. A great and rather uncommon piece to add to your collection. Please see photos for additional condition information.
