Beautiful Silver Coin from Straits Settlement Malaya Peninsula South Eastern Asia 1926 King George V of England 20 Cents About Uncirculated NGC AU53
Description: A beautiful about uncirculated or almost uncirculated 1926 silver coin from the Straits Settlements in the Malaya Peninsula in southeastern Asia. This is a 20 cent coin and has a reeded edge. The coin displays the bust of King George V of England facing left on the obverse. The obverse also has the legend "Georg V King and Emperor of India" surrounding the king's bust. The reverse displays the denomination within a beaded circle with the words "Straits Settlements . Twenty Cents 1926" surrounding it. The coin comes within a slab and is graded as about uncirculated AU 53 by the Numismatic Guarantee Corporation (NGC). The coin is nicely toned and is great looking. Size and Weight: The coin weighs ~5.30 gm of 60%25 silver and is ~23 mm in diameter.
