Beautiful Toned Bronze Coin 1921 Penny from Great Britain King George V Beautiful Extremely Fine or Better
Description: A beautiful nicely toned extremely fine or better bronze coin from Great Britain. This is the 1921 one penny bronze coin from the United Kingdom. The coin displays the bust of king George V facing left on the obverse and Britannia seated and facing right on the reverse. The coin has the words "GEORGIVS V DEI GRA:BRITT:OMN:REX FID: DEF:IND:IMP:" surrounding the king's head on the obverse. The reverse is marked "ONE PENNY 1921" surrounding the seated Britannia. This is a beautiful nicely toned coin with great eye appeal. Early British coins such as these are gradually getting more difficult to find especially in such nice grade. Please carefully review the photos presented as they are part and parcel of our description.
Date: 1921.
Mint: Great Britain.
Size and Weight: Bronze coin weighs 9.8 gm and is ~30.4 mm in diameter.
References: It is KM #810.
Condition: I would grade this beautiful coin a good extremely fine or much better. The coin has all of its details well preserved with some minor wear to the high points. The kings hair still shows considerable details as do his facial features. The same holds true for Britannia on the reverse. The coin has a few light scratches and minor bag marks, but these are minor and do not distract from the beauty and condition of this problem free coin. The coin has wear commensurate with its age and circulated state. The coin is nicely tone with a nice coloring and is problem free. Please see photo for additional condition information.
