Description: A beautiful MS 62 red-brown 1951 one penny bronze coin from the United Kingdom. The coin displays King George VI bust facing left on the obverse and Britannia seated and facing right on the reverse. The coin has the words "GEORGIVS VI. D:G: BR:OMN:REX FIDEI DEF" surrounding the king's bust. The reverse is marked "ONE PENNY 1951" surrounding the seated Britannia. Early small denomination British coins such as this are gradually getting more difficult to find. This coin is graded by NGC as MS 62 RB and comes in a plastic slab.
