Distinguishing Characteristics - Most Interesting About The Piece: A very antique map of civil war battles. Please see photos to appreciate the condition of this historical piece. This is truly a nice historical piece worthy of a spot in your collection.
Condition: The booklet is in fair condition. The booklet is missing the first two pages (It starts at page 3 and we are uncertain what the missing pages contained). The book also has an ink stain which affected most of the pages at the bottom corner but did not affect the binding or the map itself. The pages have yellowed with age but they are still clean and intact except if the ink spot in the bottom corner. The booklet itself is barely attached to the cover, but is still there. The binding is loose and the cover is soiled and has corner bumps but the spine is still intact as are the front and back covers. The fold-out map in is in relatively poor condition, with soiling, tears, some repairs along some of the folds and has tears along other fold lines, which we attempted to show in the photos. It is our opinion that the map should be conserved but we leave that to the new owner. A great civil war historical record worthy of a spot in your collection. Please view photos for additional condition information and to appreciate its condition.
