Description: A nice extremely fine or much better 1916 (1335 AH) Egyptian ten milliemes or one piastre copper-nickel coin. The coin depicts the name of Hussein Kamil or Hussain Kamel as the Sultan of Egypt during the British occupation of Egypt and his accession date of 1333 AH on the obverse. The coin shows the denomination on the reverse. It also has a central hole, which was common in those days. This is the H mint (in Birmingham, England) variety It is KM-316 and weighs ~6.0 grams. It measures approximately 26 mm in diameter. Please carefully review scan as it is part and parcel of our description.

Size and Weight: This is a ten milliemes or one piastre, weighs ~6 grams and is ~26 mm in diameter.

References: It is KM #316.

Condition: I would grade this coin as an excellent extremely fine or much better with all the details being very well preserved and very nice eye appeal. The coin is nicely toned and has great eye appeal. It is much better than the scan shows. It does have minor bag marks and minor wear commensurate with its age and circulated status. The coin does have a greenish hue but is not as pronounced as the scans suggest. Other than that this is a beautiful coin that is much better than the scan suggests.
