Description: A nice fine to very fine banknote from France. This is the A. 11=9=1941 .A. ten francs or Dix Francs. The banknote is brown with multicolored decorations. The, two hidden in the right and left sides of the frame and a larger image of a third with an axe on his shoulder. The back h front depicts minersas cows on the left and a woman holding a baby on the right with fruit decoration on the side frames. This particular note has the serial number 04828 and is series J.1. It is signed by P. Rousseau and R. Favre-Gilly. The banknote has a water mark depicting the head of a woman wearing a hat in the white circle at the top right of the front. Condition: I would grade this banknote as an good fine to very fine with all the details being very well preserved. The note has general wrinkling, several creases, some light stains, light soiling, but the corners are intact with creases and minimum rounding. The piece has no pinholes, splits or tears and the edges are intact. However, the edges have general roughness and minor nicks. Please see photo for additional condition information.
