Currency 1973 Oman Currency Board Half Rial Banknote Pick Number 9a Crisp Unc
Description: A nice crisp uncirculated banknote from Oman on the Indian Ocean. This is the no date One Omani Half Rial banknote introduced in 1972-73 and issued by the Oman Currency Board. The banknote is green and purple in color on the front and the back. The front is in Arabic and shows the Omani arms while the back is in English and depicts the image of the Sumail fort. The note has a watermark depicting the Omani arms and has a solid security thread. The front has one signature that of the president of the currency board. The note is undated but is known to have been introduced in 1973. This particular note has the serial number 590081 and is series "Beh/3" which is written twice in black on the front.
