Description: A beautiful crisp uncirculated banknote from France. This is the 1992 fifty francs or Cinquante Francs. The banknote is deep blue-black on multicolored underprint. The front depicts Maurice Quentin de la Tour the well-known 18th century French portraitist. The front also depicts the palace of Versailles in the background. The back of the note depicts de la Tour and St. Quentin city hall in the background. This particular note has the serial number 1746139450 and is series W.70. The banknote has a water mark depicting the head of Quentin de la Tour in the white area at the left of the front of the note. Condition: I would grade this banknote as crisp uncirculated with all the details being very well preserved. The note has all of its stiffness, crispiness and sheen. It has no folds, no creases, and no wrinkling. The note is clean and has no soiling, no stains, no pinholes, no graffiti, and no tears. The corners are intact, fully squared with no rounding.
