Currency Dominion of Canada 1923 Two Dollar Banknote DC-26g or Pick 34g Price of Wales Edward in Center

Description: A beautiful very fine banknote from the Dominion of Canada. The note is graded by PCGS as Very Fine 20 and comes in a plastic slab. This is the two dollars banknote dated June 23rd 1923 and signed by McCavour and Saunders. This large banknote is the red seal variety and the note is a group 2 with the prefix P. The note shows the bust of Edward Prince of Wales of Great Britain in the center of the front with black over olive green underprint. The back is olive-green and shows the arms of Canada in the center. The front shows the two signatures, the date, the serial number as well as the denomination spelled out and in numerals. This particular note has the serial number 727115 and has the prefix "P". The note has no watermark and is graded VF 20 by PCGS Currency. Condition: The note is graded VF 20 by PCGS Currency and comes in a plastic slab. It has vertical folds and a horizontal fold. It also has general wrinkling. The note is lightly soiled by has no objectionable stains. The note has no pinholes, graffiti, tears or pronounced roughness along the edges. A beautiful rare note that is in very nice condition.
