L1974 The Central Bank of The Bahamas 20 Dollars Banknote P# 39a Choice XF
Description: A nice choice extremely fine banknote from the Bahamas. This is the 20 Dollars note issued based on The Central Bank of The Bahamas Act 1974. The note is brown in color on multicolored underprint on the front. The front of the note shows the image of a young Queen Elizabeth II to the left. The back is a multicolored depiction of tourists in a horse drawn carriage riding along the beach with the Bahamas Arms to the right. The front displays the denomination, the signature of T. B. Donaldson, the serial number, and the denomination. This particular note has the serial number F 201311 printed twice in black on the front but not on the back. The note has a security thread left of center and a watermark depicting a conch shell. This is a very nice example of this rather scarce note worthy of a spot in your collection. Condition: The note is graded as 45 Choice Extremely Fine by PMG and comes in a plastic holder so labeled. The note has all of its details very well preserved. The note is intact with light soiling. As far as we can see the note has no tears and no splits. We do not observe roughness or folds. It has no stains, no pinholes, and no graffiti., and its corners are intact, squared with minimum rounding, if any. A great example of this scarce banknote to add to your collection.
