1974 The Central Bank of The Bahamas One Dollar Banknote P# 35a Crisp Uncirculated
Description: A beautiful crisp uncirculated banknote from the Bahamas. This is the One Dollar issued based on The Central Bank of The Bahamas Act 1974. The note is green in color on multicolored underprint on the front. The front of the note shows the image of a young Queen Elizabeth II to the left. The back is a multicolored depiction of the fish and corals under water with the Bahamas Arms to the right. The front displays the denomination, the signature of T. B. Donaldson, the serial number and the denomination. This particular note has the serial number G/1 916805 printed twice in black on the front but not on the back. The note has a security thread left of center and a watermark depicting a conch shell. This is a very nice note in beautiful high grade for such a low denomination.
