Large 1941 Switzerland Banknote Fifty Francs Currency Pick Number 34l PMG 25VF

Description: A nice very fine banknote from Switzerland. This is the December 12, 1941 fifty francs currency note issued by The Swiss National Bank in Bern and Zurich. The note is green, orange, and blue on the front with the image of a woman's head to the left of the front in an oval. The note is in German, French, and Italian on both sides. It shows the denomination, three signatures, and the serial number on the front. The back is green on pink in color and shows the image of the painting "The Woodcutter" by Ferdinand Hodler. The banknote has no watermark that we could find. This particular note has the serial number 10G071796. Please carefully review the scans presented as they are part and parcel of our description.

Please check the cost of shipping before bidding. The note is graded by PMG as VF25, and comes in a plastic holder so labeled. The note has all of its details well preserved and very readable. This is a well used note but still intact. The note has a heavy vertical fold and a heavy horizontal fold with additional creases and some wrinkling. The note is soiled but intact. It shows some rust spots, which is noted on the holder. Other than that, the note is intact, lightly soiled, has one small stain in the center of the bottom edge, but has no graffiti, no pinholes, and no tears. The note also shows some minor roughness along the edges. The note does have wear commensurate with its age and circulated status. Please see photo for additional condition information.
