Large Antique Carved Wood Primitive Butter Print Stylized Flower and Leaves Toothed Border
Description: A beautiful antique lathe turned and carved wood wooden butter print. The butter print, which is made of a single piece of wood was carved to leave a protruding handle that is knob shaped. The print itself consists of a large round flat surface, which measures about 4 1/4" in diameter and has a carved design depicting a flower surrounded by leaves and the design is surrounded by a toothed border. Date: Mid to late 1800's.
Origin: Southeastern Pennsylvania.
Size: Measures ~4 1/4" in diameter at the design part and is ~3" high.
