Large Unusual B. Cukla Tin Cookie Cutter W/ Handle Woman Standing in Dress Heart

Description: A rather unusual large vintage tin cookie cutter. The cookie cutter has the design showing a woman wearing a dress standing with her head in profile. The woman has a heart in the middle of her body between her arms. This cutter represents a very interesting design and is reminiscent of Pennsylvania Dutch cookie cutters of days gone by. The cutter's back is flat with two holes to let the air out. It has a semi-circular handle soldered to it. The cutter is stamped (c) B. CUKLA. This is newer cutter probably from the late 1900s or early 2000s. It is very well done and looks great. Please carefully review the photos presented as they are part and parcel of our description.

Date: Uncertain but most likely sometime in the late 20th century or early 21st century.

Origin: Was acquired at an estate sale in Southeastern Pennsylvania.

Size: The cookie cutter is ~6" at its longest, ~3 3/8" at its widest and the design is ~1/2" deep with the handle standing~1 1/8" above the flat back. The cutter weighs about ~2.5 ounces.

Distinguishing Characteristics - Most Interesting About The Piece: Nice cookie cutter with a very interesting and unusual design. It would display well in your collection of primitives and/or cookie cutters. It can also be used to make your holiday cookies.

Condition: The cutter is in very good condition. It is clean and shiny with some grayish spots throughout. It has scratches and some minor small rust spots. The cookie cutter has no other issues such as bumps, breaks, repairs, or losses. The cookie cutter is all together in a solid state. A great piece to add to your collection.
