Law of 1935 Republica Oriental Del Uruguay Series A 10 Pesos Banknote Nice Extremely Fine Currency Note

Description: A nice extremely fine banknote from Uruguay. This is the “Lay De 14 De Agosto De 1935” ten pesos issued by “El Departamento De Emision Del Banco De La Republica Oriental Del Uruguay.” The note is deep blue in color over a multicolored underprint and has the image of a warrior wearing a helmet to the left of the front and the Uruguay arms in the upper right corners on the front. The back is purple and shows a group of men holding swords with a flag raised. The note has two signatures in black and the serial number in red on the front. This particular note has the serial number 0885463 and it is series A. The note has a watermark depicting J. G. Artigas in profile. Condition: I would grade this banknote as a nice extremely fine with all the details being very well preserved and the note retaining quite a bit of its original stiffness, sheen and crispiness. The note has a vertical fold and a light horizontal fold. Its corners are intact with minimum rounding and a couple of bumps. The note is clean with no stains. It has no pinholes, no graffiti, no splits and no tears. The edges are intact with minimum roughness if any. A beautiful note to add to your collection.
