Leroux Paris Mother of Pearl Opera Glasses or Binoculars in Original Leather Box
Description: A beautiful antique pair of Opera glasses or Binoculars and covered with Mother of Pearl (MOP). The entire piece is made of brass and MOP. This silvery look of the MOP and golden look is just fantastic. The adjustment wheel is also made of brass, has a white material with ridges, and works well. The binoculars come with a black or dark brown leather box having a brass push button locking mechanism.

Size: The eye pieces are ~ 1 1/8" in diameter on top. The binoculars are 3 5/8" wide where your eyes would go, 4" wide at the other end, and are 3 1/8" long when fully extended.
Marks: "Leroux Paris" in black lettering on the eye piece.
Distinguishing Characteristics - Most Interesting About The Piece: A beautiful piece with a nice and colorful design.
Condition: The optics are perfect and the binoculars are in good condition. It has wear commensurate with its age and utilitarian function. The leather case has extensive wear and has lost quite a bit of its color as well as the strap which was attached to the lis. The case however still is useful and works well to protect the glasses.
