Limoges France Hand Painted Box Hand Held Telephone Receiver Check Your Messages
Description: A beautiful and very interesting small hand painted porcelain trinket box from Limoges France. The box is in the shape of a hand-held telephone receiver. The box has a hinged lid with the lid being the face of the phone with the word "HELLO" displayed below what would be the ear piece. There are the buttons with the numbers as well as additional buttons with letters and symbols are also shown. Finally, the bottom of the phone shows the mouth piece. The sides of the box are green with black lines. The hinge is equipped with two flattened spots to serve as a stopper for the box's lid when opened. The top is white, light blue, and green in color with black lettering. The box has a thumb piece in the form of two hands shaking with the message "CHECK YOUR MESSAGES “on the inside of the box. This is a very interesting box with a hinged lid. Both top and bottom of the box are fitted with brass frames at the edges with a hinge on the back and a locking thumb piece attached to the front of the top portion. The inside of the box is white in color with the bottom half having the message "CHECK YOUR MESSAGES". The top half of the inside has the words "Paint main Limoges. France" in black lettering. This is a very nice piece from Limoges France to add to your collection of small trinket boxes. Please carefully review the photos presented as they are part and parcel of our description.
