Lustrous 1945 Mexico Gold Coin Two and Half Pesos Miguel Hidalgo Mexico Arms AU+
Description: Beautiful lustrous about uncirculated or much better 1945 two and a half pesos Mexican gold coin. The coin depicts the image of Miguel Hidalgo on the obverse and the Mexican arms (eagle with serpent in its mouth standing on cactus) on the reverse. The obverse has the legend "DOS Y MEDIO PESOS*1945" below Hidalgo's head. The reverse has the legend "ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS" above the arms. The coin has a reeded edge and a toothed border. It is KM-463, weighs about 2.1 grams of 0.900 gold, and measures approximately 15.5 mm in diameter. I would grade it about uncirculated or much better with minimum, if any, wear. Condition: I would grade this coin as about uncirculated or much better. It has all of its details well preserved and shows minimum wear, if any. It is lustrous and has nice clear fields. The coin is problem free with minimum surface marks such as scratches or bag marks. It is clean with quite a bit of luster. A great looking coin worthy of a spot in your collection.
