Matted and Framed Print Interior Scene, Woman Sitting at Table Wallace Nutting
Description: A colored old print signed Wallace Nutting. It is a lady sitting at a table in a large room. She is sitting in front of a fire place. The room walls appear to be covered with wall paper showing garden scenes. There is a desk and a folding table in the room. There is also a closet with its door open next to the woman. The room has a door leading to a hallway with another room in the distance. There is a carpet on the floor. The piece is framed with a brown wood frame and has a cardboard backing held in with metal wedges inserted into the side of the frame. The paper backing is all gone as is the hanging wire which would be used to hang the piece. Please carefully review the photos as they are part and parcel of the description.
Date: Uncertain but sometime between 1904 and 1940.
Origin: Purchased at an estate sale in Southeastern Pennsylvania in the United States.
Size: The print is small and rectangular measuring ~6 11/16 by ~27/8", while the frame measures ~11 3/4" by ~7 3/4" and the entire piece weighs about 10 ounces.

Distinguishing Characteristics - Most Interesting About The Piece: Just a very nice old decorative print by one of the best known print makers of the early twentieth century. It would make a nice addition to your collection or as a nice Condition: In very good overall condition. The frame has a few dings and scratches, the print appears to be a bit faded or could be the way it always was. The matting in clean with non of the usual staining you see in these pieces. The piece is missing the paper backing which would cover the cardboard backing as well as the wire where it would hang from. These can be done relatively easy and inexpensively. We are actually selling the piece as found and chose not to fix the back. Please see photos for additional condition information.
