Description: A beautiful crisp extremely fine or much better Banknote from the Sweden. This is the 1938 Swedish National Bank ten or Tio Kronor banknote. The note is black and green with multi colored center on the front. The front shows a woman (Seav) seated with a lion at her feet and holding a shield with her right hand right of center. The back is black and green on off-white background with red fibers to the left of center. The center of the back shows the image of a bearded man (Gustav Vasa) in the center flanked by the denomination and has the letter "K" in green on both sides below it. The front shows the denomination in writing and in numerals with the number 10 in red in the bottom right corner. The front also shows two signatures, the date 1938, and the serial number. This particular banknote has the serial number AA192452 which is shown twice in black on the front. The note has a watermark displaying characters and lines, which we do not recognize, throughout. Please carefully review the scan provided as it is part and parcel of our description.

Additional charges will be incurred depending on the value of the item. Please check the cost of shipping before bidding. I would grade this banknote as crisp extremely fine or much better. The note is crisp and shows nice embossing. It is clean with no tears or splits. It has no pinholes., no graffiti, and no stains. Its corners are nicely squared with minimum rounding if any. The only thing we see is a light central vertical fold which is relatively difficult to see but is there. This is the main reason we are grading the note as XF instead of AU or even UNC. A very desirable note to add to your collection. Please see photo for additional condition information.
