Nice 1948 German Democratic Republic 10 Mark Banknote Pick No. 12a Crisp XF++
Description: A nice crisp extremely fine banknote from German Democratic Republic or East Germany. This is the 1948, ten-mark banknote by the State Bank of the DDR currency note. The banknote is black on green on multicolor underprint and has a non-pictorial design on both the front and back. The front has no signature but shows the serial number, the prefix, the denomination, as well as the date. The back has the same color scheme as the front and shows the denomination in the center and in all four corners of the printed area. It also shows the denomination in a clear area to the right. This particular note has the serial number 927660 (a six digit serial number) and the prefix AI displayed twice in red on the front. The banknote has a watermark depicting arrows in a repeating pattern. The note also has no security thread. A nice banknote to add to your collection.
