Rare 1932 Ethiopia 100 Thalers Pick Number 10 Large Elephant PMG Very Fine 25 Banknote
Description: A beautiful, rare, and very fine Banknote from Ethiopia. This is the 1 May 1932, one hundred Thalers currency note issued by the Bank of Ethiopia. The front of the banknote is blue on multicolored and orange background. The front shows a bank building to the left, the Lion of Judah (the symbol of Ethiopia; Crowned Lion Passant holding a cross) in the top middle and an elephant coming out of the bushes to the right. The back, which is brown on multicolored background, depicts Palm fronds. The banknote displays the denomination on both the front and back. It has one signature on the front and has the serial number D/1 01931, which is displayed twice on the front. The note is graded by PMG as Very Fine 25 with the notation "Pinholes , Annotation" and comes in a plastic holder so marked. It does have many pinholes and light annotation in red on the back. Condition: The note is graded Very Fine 25 by PMG. The note has the notation "pinholes. Annotation and has many pinholes and light annotation in red on the back. The note shows roughness along the edges, some nicks along the edges and many vertical as well as horizontal folds. The corners are rounded and show bumps. The note is soiled and has some minor small stains here and there. Be that as it may, this is a nice note to add to your collection. Please see photo for additional condition information.
