"Rare" Beautiful Roseville Pottery Foxglove Pattern Blue 15 inch Serving Tray
Description: A most beautiful, very uncommon, and rare blue colored art pottery 15" long tray by the Roseville Pottery Company.This nice size serving tray (~15") is in the Foxglove pattern, which features tall, tapering blossom clusters of dusty white, pink, and yellow with green leaves on a blue background. The tray has two small open handles on opposite sides of the edge. It was made in the early 1940s. Please carefully view photos as they are part and parcel of our description.
Date: Early 1940s.
Origin: Roseville, Ohio.
Size: The tray measures ~15" in length, is ~7 1/2" in wide, and is ~1 3/4" high. The piece weighs over two and half pounds.
Maker: Roseville Pottery Company.
Marks: Impressed on the bottom Roseville, U. S. A..
Distinguishing Characteristics - Most Interesting About The Piece: This is a truly nice piece which is very difficult to come by in such good condition.The colors are rich, fresh and vivid and would display very well in your collection. A nice piece of art pottery, which would make a nice addition to your collection of Roseville pottery.
