Rare Roseville Pottery Mid 1940s Green Clematis Vase with Handles 108-8"
Description: A most beautiful green colored art pottery vase by the Roseville Pottery Company. This a nice size vase with handle in the Clematis pattern. The pattern shows pink clematis flowers over green leaves on a textured green background. It was made in the years 1944 on. The vase has a two side handles that start at the base of the neck of the vase and end near the base. A great looking piece, which seldom comes by in such a great shape. Please carefully view photos as they are part and parcel of our description.

Origin: The piece is part of a large collection purchased from a collector in Southern New Jersey, which we have been and will continue listing over the coming weeks and months. It was of course made in Roseville, Ohio.

Distinguishing Characteristics - Most Interesting About The Piece: This is a truly nice and rare piece which is very difficult to come by. The colors are rich, fresh and vivid and would display very well in your collection.
Condition: The piece is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, or repairs. The piece has general crazing to the glaze, which is difficult to see with the naked eye, but is there. It also has a small flake to the surface near the top which can be seen in the second photo. The piece has no additional losses to the glaze or the coloring. There is a small white paint spot on the side of the vase (see the third and fourth photos), which we did not attempt to remove. Be that as it may, this is a great looking piece, which would make a nice addition to your collection. Please see photos for additional condition information.
