Rare Very Fine Silver Coin 1739 Switzerland Taler or Thaler Zurich City View Beautiful NGC Graded VF 30
Description: Beautiful nicely toned NGC graded silver coin dated 1739 from Switzerland. This is a one Taler or Thaler coin from the city state of Zurich. The coin depicts the oval arms of the city of Zurich supported by a rampant lion at the right and facing left surrounded by the inscription "MONETA REIPUBLICAE TIGURIN AE" on the reverse. The obverse shows the city view with the river Limmat in the center with boats on it and buildings along the river banks into the horizon with the date below the scene in a cartouche. The reverse also has the legend "DOMINE CONSERVA NOS IN PACE" above the scene along the edge. This is a rare and very desirable coin that is difficult to find in such a nice grade. It is beautiful with nice toning and great eye appeal. It is KM-1433 measuring ~40 mm ( a beautiful large flan). Please carefully review the scan provided as it is part and parcel of our description.

Condition: The coin is graded Very Fine VF 30 by NGC and is nicely toned with great eye appeal. The coin is in a slab and is great looking. The coin is much better than the scans show. It does have wear commensurate with its age and circulated status as very fine, has some surface scratches, and minor bag marks..
