Sheaffer's Snorkel Fine Palladium Silver Nib Pen and Pencil Set In Original Box
Description: A set of vintage pastel gray Sheaffer's Snorkel fountain pen and mechanical pencil set in original box. The pen has a fine nib marked Sheaffer Palladium Silver F6. Both pen and pencil have beautiful slick and slim profile and a gold colored band as well as a gold colored clip. The clip is marked Sheaffer's. The pencil has a golden tip where the lead comes out. The pen still has a paper label near the nib which says "FINE". The two-piece set appears not have been used and both pieces are clean and appear to be in great condition. The pencil works well and we have not tested the pen. However, careful examination of the set suggest that the set was never used and remained in the box for the past 60 to 70 years. The box itself is soiled, has some breaks at the corners and the elastic holding the writing instruments appears to be a bit stretched. Both pen and pencil are in excellent condition with no observable damage or pronounced scratches. Just a nice vintage set to add to your collection. Please carefully review photos as they are part and parcel of our description.
