Distinguishing Characteristics - Most Interesting About The Piece: This is a very nice redware figurine or reproduction child’s toy that is very well made. A definite beauty, which deserves a prominent spot in any redware collection. Condition: The cow is in very good condition with no unintentional chips, cracks, crazing to the glaze, repairs, or hairlines. The piece is soiled with dust in some of the crevasse, which we chose not to clean and leave that to the discretion of the new owner. Other than that, the figurine has intentional general crazing to the glaze but no losses to it. All the intentional antiquing elements can be seen in the photo. Of course, all of these are intentional to give the toy the required look of the reproduced piece from 1700 or 1800s toy. Please see the photos for additional condition information and to appreciate its beauty.
