The Bahamas Government Four Shillings Banknote Pick Number 13b Queen Elizabeth II Portrait
Description: A nice very fine or better banknote from the Bahamas. This is the four shillings No Date (1953) banknote issued by the Bahamas Government. The note is undated but is a 1954 issue. It is green on multicolored underprint on the front. The front of the note shows a sail ship in a circular frame to the left and the image of a young queen Elizabeth to the right. The back is green in color and depicts arms to the left and denomination to the right. The front displays the denomination, and three signatures with the two signatures to the being those of W.H. Sweeting and Basil Burnside making it Pick Number 13b. This particular note has the serial number A/3 831104 printed in black twice on the front but not on the back. The note has a security thread left of center but no watermark. The note is grade by PMG as 55 About Uncirculated EPQ (Exceptional Paper Quality). This is a very nice note rare is such beautiful grade and would make a great addition to your collection. Please carefully review the scans presented as they are part and parcel of our description.
