Three Vintage Rockingham Bennington Yellow Ware Glazed Mottled Custard Cups
Description: A lot of three vintage glazed Rockingham or Bennington style yellow ware custard, pudding, or desert cups. The three old custard cups have a smooth outer wall which extends to a lightly rolled rim with one being more shaped than the others. The cups have the typical Bennington yellow ware background with the characteristic brown mottling throughout. The cups have flat round base with two having a slightly recessed center giving rise to a foot while the third is completely flat and unglazed. Although the three cups differ slightly from each other and they are not a set, we are selling them together as found. The sides of the cups are rounded and terminate at a shaped or slightly rolled rim. The inside of the cups is also glazed with the same yellow background color and the same brown mottling as the exterior. Three nice looking vintage custard cups to add to your collection.
