Vintage Painted Wall Mountable Cast Iron Figural Bottle Opener Clown's Head
Origin: Purchased in an estate sale in Southeastern Pennsylvania.
Size: The piece measures ~4 1/4" by ~4" and weighs slightly over 11 ounces.
Marks: Unmarked as to the maker. Has the number 495 stamped on the back on the right side of the bowtie.
Distinguishing Characteristics - Most Interesting About The Piece: Truly a nice and uncommon bottle opener, which would make a worthy addition to your collection.
Condition: The bottle opener is all original and in good overall condition. It has no breaks or repairs. The piece shows losses to the paint especially along the tooth, upper and lower lips, and the tip of the nose. The piece is soiled, has some scratches, and minor dings. All these issues can be seen in the photos. Be that as it may, this is a nice piece and would make a great addition to your collection. Please see photos for additional condition information.
