Vintage Round Beer Tray Yellow, Red and Black Design Ortlieb's Lager Beer & Ale Philadelphia Pennsylvania
Description: A beautiful vintage beer tray. The beer tray is yellow, black and red in colors. It is from the Henry F. Ortlieb Brewing Company of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This small private brewing company that made a hand crafted beer in the period of 1860s through 1970s in Philadelphia was sold in the early 1980s and is now produced in Baltimore. The round tray has relatively high sides (making it rather deep to hold spilled beer) colored in black with a red trim and the words Ortlieb's Beer in white lettering. The center of the tray is yellow with a white on red central ribbon having the word Ortlieb's in white. It also has lettering in red and black indicating the name of the brewery, its phone number and the fact that they made lager and ales. The back of the tray is colored in black. Please carefully review the photos as they are part and parcel of our description.

Distinguishing Characteristics - Most Interesting About The Piece: This is a very nice beer or Philadelphia related piece with nice and fresh colors to add to your collection.
Condition: The tray is in very good condition given its age and utilitarian function. It does have scratches, some minor spots of oxidation, and minor spots where the color is lost. The tray also has two spots on the front where the coloring is raised or maybe a residue, we are not certain if it is a spot with some rust under the paint or if it is a residue that is difficult to clean. Be that as it may the tray is intact and beautiful. Just a great piece to add to your collection.
In Closing: This is a nice piece which would make a nice addition to your collection of Beer related items.
