This early wood box looks great and has a very nice appearance. Please carefully review the photos as they are part and parcel of our description.

Distinguishing Characteristics - Most Interesting About The Piece: This a very nice piece of Americana worthy of a spot in your collection.

Condition: The piece is in good condition given its age (it is about 100 years old) and utilitarian function. It has losses to the surface finish with a few chips and dings. The edges of the box's wall and base have some losses to the wood. There are losses to the surface finish throughout. Other than that, the box is all together and solid with no breaks or repairs. This primitive box was obviously made by hand as can be seen from the way it is cut and put together. A great piece of Americana to add to your collection.
