Three Vintage Miniature Pewter Pourers or Porringers Marked STEDE

Description: A lot of three vintage pewter pourers or porringers having a flat base and rounded sides terminating in folded plain rim. The porringers have a flat handle with a reticulated design. These are reproduction of antique circa 18th century porringers. See Peter Hornsby's Book "Pewter of The Western World, 1600-1850" Published by Schiffer Publishing Ltd of Exton, Pennsylvania in 1983 pages 154 - 157 for antique examples of this piece.  Please view the photos as they are part and parcel of our description.

Date: Mid to late 20th century.

Origin: Germany

Size: 2 1/2" in diameter, 3/8" high, and is 3 3/4" long when you include the handle.

Maker: Stede Metal Company

Marks: Has the STEDE mark of a stamped horse's head in a square with the word STEDE stamped under it.

Distinguishing Characteristics - Most Interesting About The Piece: A lot of vintage pieces of beautiful pewter which would display very well.

Condition: The porringers are in very good condition with no breaks, repairs or dings. They do have scratches throughout. They also have stains on the front and back which can be seen in the photos. However, these do not distract from the pieces' charm. Please see photos to appreciate the beauty and condition of the pieces
