Distinguishing Characteristics - Most Interesting About The Piece: This is a nice antique pewter teapot with a beautiful classic design which would display very well in your collection.

Condition: This pot is in relatively good condition. It has several dings but no obvious holes or breaks. The solder at the base of the spout can be seen as well as the solder on the inside where the terminals of the handles are attached. We are not certain whether these are original to the making or later repairs. The hinge of the lid is intact and in good shape. The pot has developed a nice warm gray age patina and has scratches throughout. Finally, we believe that the finial had a decorative element that is long gone and is missing. The piece is soiled and has many stains to the exterior. However, these would probably clean easily and the piece would look great once it is cleaned. We do leave the decision to clean to the discretion of the new owner. This piece has a nice shape and look which makes it a great piece to display in your collection. Because of the issues outlined above, we are selling the piece "AS IS" at a fraction of its true value. Please view the photos for additional condition information.
