Nice ND 1971 Dinar Banknote Central Bank of Libya PCGS Banknote Very Fine 20
Description: A nice very fine banknote from Libya. This is the Central Bank of Libya issued 1971 one dinar banknote. The banknote is blue in color over multicolored underprint. It is written in Arabic on the front. The front depicts the Marcus Aureus arch with a minaret left of center. The front has one signature, the name of the bank, the denomination, and the serial number. The reverse has the same color scheme of the front and is written in English. It depicts the image of a fortress on top of a hill in the center. The note has a watermark depicting the Libyan arms, eagle standing with a shield on its chest. It also has a solid security thread left of center. This particular note has the serial number 698669 and is series 1C/8. The banknote is graded Very Fine 20 by PCGS Banknote, with the detail being many pinholes. Please carefully review scan as it is part and parcel of our description.

Condition: The banknote is graded by PCGS Banknote as Very Fine 20 DETAILS. It comes in a plastic holder so labeled. The being pinholes throughout the note and minor losses in the top left corner. The note has folds and wrinkling. It is lightly soiled with a few minor light stains. However, its colors are still vivid and look good. The note has rounding in the corners and general roughness along the edges. The note does not appear to have tears or splits. Be that as it may, this is a nice piece worthy of a spot in our collection. Please see photo for additional condition information.
