Antique Pewter Ladle Wooden Handle and Deep Ball Shaped Bowl Maker's Mark
Description: A nice antique pewter ladle with nicely shaped wood handle and a ball-shaped deep bowl. The ladle has a straight hardwood handle attached to the bowl using a tubular pewter connector which is part of the bowl. The handle itself ends with a shaped small tulip with a round small ball on top. The ladle also has what we would characterize a ball and rather deep bowl which is ~3 1/4" in diameter and is ~3" deep. The bowl itself has a nice warm gray age patina with a few dark spots, lots of scratches, some red stains and a lot of shallow dings. The wood handle is a bit soiled and has some scratches and dings, but is intact and solid. All in all, this a nice piece worthy of a spot in your collection.
