Rare Antique Tin German Flat-Back Large Cookie Cutter Preacher Man Wearing Hat
Description: An antique, very large size, and rather uncommon tin cookie cutter. The cutter, which was made in Germany, has a very uncommon, or possibly rare design of a Preacher Man standing with one hand pointing forward and wearing a hat on his head. The cutter's back is flat, rectangular in shape, with two holes to let the air out. The cutter has no handle making it a true flat back cutter. Date: Uncertain but most likely late 1800s to early 1900s (late 19th to early 20th century).
Origin: Was acquired at an estate sale in Southeastern Pennsylvania. The cutter was made in Germany.
Size: The cookie cutter is ~9 7/8" tall and is ~4" at its widest with the design being ~1" in depth. The cookie Cutter weighs ~6.5 ounces.

Marks: G.M.T. Co. GERMANY, stamped on the back.

Condition: The cutter is aged to a nice dark gray age patina. There are rust spots on the front and back commensurate with the cutter's age and utilitarian function.
