1914 Mexican Provisional Government Large Ten Pesos Banknote Series C Liberty Seated, Pick Number S1106 Beautiful About Uncirculated or Better Banknote
Description: A beautiful, large size about uncirculated or better Banknote from Mexico. This is the December 1, 1914 issue known as Gobierno Provisional De Mexico, Veracruz ten pesos paper currency. This is the series "C" 10 pesos. The banknote depicts Liberty seated at left in black and white with shield in one hand and an olive branch in the other. The shield has the date 1914. The center has a black and white eagle with spread wings and having a snake in its beak all over a yellowish brown underprint on the front. The back is brown in color with a central image of a one peso coin having Liberty's bonnet in its center. The note also has a red scalloped seals on the back as well as a brown round seal. This note is pick number S1107. This particular note has the serial number 4652605 on the front twice in red and does not display the serial number on the back. It is a series C issue and has two signatures on the front. It has no water mark that we could find. The paper of the note is stiff and crisp. The colors are fresh and vivid. Pick Number: We believe this Pick number S1106, because of the brown yellow coloring on the front, the absence of the suffix in the serial number and the brown back, but you be the judge.

I would grade this banknote as about uncirculated or much better with all the being very well preserved. The note shows no circulation with no folds or creases. The paper is clean and shows no staining. The corners are intact and have minimum rounding if any. The bottom right corner has a minor bump and crease and hence our AU grade as opposed to UNC. The note retains all of its original stiffness, sheen and crispiness. The edges are intact with no roughness with no tears or nicks. The colors of the note are clear and vivid. The note has no graffiti, no tears, no pinholes and no stains. Please carefully view the scan for additional condition information.
