Halcyon Days Enamels England Oval Enameled Trinket Box Flower Bouquet Decoration
Description: A beautiful small oval-shaped enamel on copper trinket box by Halcyon Days Enamels of England. This box has a hinged lid that is nicely decorated with a colorful transfer depicting a bouquet of flowers in the center surrounded by a pink on green border and having a pink colored edge. The image is on a white background on top of the lid. The side of the box is decorated with small vignettes depicting floral arrangements with a helical pink pattern over green separating the vignettes. The vignettes are on a white background with scalloped pink border. The box has a flat oval base with straight rising sides. The box is white on the inside with the back of the lid having the image of a Boquete of flowers in its center in black line drawing. The bottom of the inside is not decorated. Both top and bottom are fitted with brass rings having a hinge on the back and a thumb piece on the front top portion. The inside of the box is also enameled and has a white coloring. The bottom of the box is white and has the maker's mark. The brass ends of both the top and bottom are clean, shiny, and add immensely to the beauty of this box.
