Roseville Pottery Blue Snowberry 5" Rose Bowl 1RB-5" NR
Description: Offered here is a most beautiful and interesting hanging basket also known as "Rose Bowl" made by the Roseville Pottery Company. The Vase is in the blue Snowberry pattern and was made in 1947.
Marks: It is marked "Roseville, U.S.A., 1RB-5 in relief on the bottom. It measures 5 1/4" in height; the base is 3" in diameter while it is ~6 3/4" in diameter at its widest point including the handles.
Condition: This piece is in good condition given its age. It has one chip on the inside edge, see photos, which is difficult to see from the outside. In addition, it has a stain which can be seen in the last photo (please note the picture shows the stain to be worse than it really is). It has no other cracks, hairlines, or blemishes. It does have minor crazing to the glaze. Its colors are fresh and vivid, what a beauty. Because the piece is not perfect we are selling it as is a considerably below book value and with no reserve.
