Vintage Carved Wood Springerle or Cookie Mold with Ten Designs Birds, Flowers, Nuts, Fish and Bunny
Description: Vintage Springerle mold made of carved light colored wood. This is a nice size rectangular springerle. The front of the springerle has ten carved images or plates. There is are two birds, one flying and the other perched on a branch. There is a fish and a bunny rabbit. There are several shapes which we believe represent nuts such as acorns and several flowers. The carvings are very well done and show quite a bit of details despite their small size. These are literally miniature wood carvings. Each image has a multi linear carved frame and the image is carved in the center of the frame. The back of the springerle is plain and undecorated. Please carefully view the photos as they are part and parcel of our description.
