Beautiful Roseville Pottery Small Blue Jardinière Snowberry Pattern 1J-4"

Description: A most beautiful and on the smallish side blue colored art pottery jardiniere bowl by the Roseville Pottery Company. This jardinière, which has two small handles on opposite sides, is in the Snowberry pattern. It was made in late 1940s. It shows white berries in clusters on brown branches with small green leaves all on a blue background. Please carefully review the photos presented as they are part and parcel of our description.

Date: Late 1940's.

Origin: Roseville, Ohio.

Size: Measures ~4 1/8" high, ~6 1/4" at its widest at the handles, the bowl opening is ~4" in diameter and the base is ~3" in diameter. The piece weighs slightly over one pound and 2 ounces.

Maker: Roseville Pottery Company

Marks: In relief on the bottom "Roseville, U. S. A., 1J-4".

Distinguishing Characteristics - Most Interesting About The Piece: This is a truly nice and beautiful bowl or jardinière with rich, fresh and vivid colors. It would display very well in your collection.

Condition: The jardinière is in excellent condition with no cracks, hairlines, chips, color loss, or repairs. Its colors are fresh, vivid, and great looking but is a bit soiled and could use some cleaning especially on the inside. The piece has general crazing to the glaze.
