Rare Roseville Pottery Late 1940's Snowberry Pattern Trophy Vase

Description: A most beautiful, very uncommon, and rare green colored art pottery vase by the Roseville Pottery Company. This a nice size (~8 3/8" tall) trophy shaped vase in the snowberry pattern. It was made in the late 1940's. Please carefully view photos as they are part and parcel of our description.

Date: Sometime post 1947 into the early 1950's.

Origin: The piece is part of a large collection purchased from a collector in Southern New Jersey, which we will be listing over the coming weeks and months. It was of course made in Roseville, Ohio.

Size: The piece measures ~8 3/8" tall, ~7" at its widest including the two handles, it is ~4 1/2" in diameter atthe vbase and ~5" in diameter at the top. The piece weighs a bit over 2 pounds and 2 ounces.

Maker: Roseville Pottery Company.

Marks: In relief on the back the words Roseville, U. S. A. 1UR-8" which did not photograph very well but is there.

Distinguishing Characteristics - Most Interesting About The Piece: This is a truly nice and rare piece which is very difficult to come by. The colors are rich, fresh and vivid and would display very well in your collection.

Condition: The piece is in very excellent condition. It has no cracks, hairlines, chips, repairs, or crazing of the glaze. The colors are fresh and vivid with no losses. Please see photos for additional condition information.
