Roseville Pottery Wisteria Brown Squat Vase

Description:  Most beautiful and very rare brown squat vase or vessel by the Roseville Pottery Company.  This vase is in the Wisteria pattern. It was made in the late 1930s. It consists of a round shaped bowl with two small side handles at the top and a closed in rim. The vase is decorated with a lavender raised design of a wisteria bloom and green leaves on a textured surface of brown and green colors. This is a very colorful design and very rare too. Date: Late 1930's

Origin: Roseville, Ohio

Size: The bowl having a base measuring 3" in diameter. The piece is about 5 1/4" in diameter at its widest and is about 6 1/2" high. The opening on top measures 3" in diameter.

Maker: Roseville Pottery Company

Marks: Unmarked.

Distinguishing Characteristics - Most Interesting About The Piece: This is a truly beautiful piece which would make a nice accent to the decor in your home or a great addition to your collection. The colors are fresh and vivid and would display very well.

Condition: The vase is in great condition and was obviously well taken care of. It has no chips, cracks, breaks, hairlines or repairs. It doe have overall grazing to the glaze which is difficult to see but is there. Please view photos to appreciate the beauty and condition of this piece.
