1798 Draped Bust Design Large Cent 2nd Hair Style NGC Graded VF 25 Brown (S-170)
Description: A nice NGC graded copper 1798 Liberty Head with a Draped Bust design large cent or penny. This coin is a 2nd hair style variety. The coin is in a very mice condition with its details still very well preserved after being around for over 225 years. The coin is graded by NGC as VF 25 BN and comes in a plastic slab so labeled. It has a very nice chocolate brown color and even honest wear commensurate with the grade. The coin is problem free and in original condition displaying a handsome brown colored patina. These coins were designed by Robert Scott, should weigh somewhere around 10.9 grams of copper and is ~29 mm m diameter. Early US coins such as this are gradually getting very difficult to find in such a nice condition. Please carefully review scan presented as it is part and parcel of our description.

Condition: The coin is graded VF 25 BN or Very Fine 25 Brown by NGC. The coin is encased in a plastic slab which is labeled as such. The details of the coins are still well preserved and very discernable. The coin has a very nice chocolate brown color and even honest wear commensurate with the grade.
